A good audio converter, convert OGG to MP3, MP3 to OGG The Last Blu-Ray and DVD Ripper You’ll Ever Used

Recently, I shot some DV footage in 16:9 format, edited in Vegas Video and rendered to HDV m2t files. Every time I try to covert them to “MPEG”, “FLV” and others I always miss the 16:9 aspect and get 4:3 no matter what I try. I cannot figure out how to convert/resize the file. I normally use TMPGEnc or VirtualDub for my conversion needs. However, both tools open the file in the unattractive mode where everything looks squeezed from left to right. In other words, they don’t seem to recognize the wider aspect ratio. And if I ignore this and proceed anyway, I get a resulting 4×3 file with the squeezed appearance. After the kind recommendations from some of my colleagues, I successfully solved the problem. Thus, I am writing this free guide for you on how to correctly convert 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9.

To begin with, we can download this MTS Converter named Moyea MTS Converter for windows or Mac MTS Converter depending on the OS we are operating. Here let me take MTS Converter for Windows as an example.

Step One: Import MTS files
Connect our camcorder like AVCHD camcorder via USB or Fire wire with the computer and export files from it to Moyea MTS Converter.
Step Two: Choose the output video/audio format and destination file path
Choose Output format by pull-down menu of “Format”. There are various formats for you to choose. (The following picture is for your reference). For example, you can choose “H.264 video (mp4).” Then, you can designate the destination folder by “Open” button.

Step Three: Advanced Settings and Editing
Expand “Settings” button on the main interface, then the “Profile” window will pop up.
This interface allows you to change Codec, Size (pix), Bitrate (kbps), Frame rate (fps) and Channels. Here, you can set the Size (pix) as 1920*1080 and Channels as “5.1 Channels”.

Edit section: (Including Crop, Trim, Watermark, Effect, Audio Replace, etc)
Click “Edit” button on the toolbar to enter the setting section.
You can freely adjust the file size via “Width” and “Height” button. If you want to keep the original video quality, you can select the Message Box of “Keep Original Aspect ratio”.

Step Four: Launch the conversion and get the appropriate aspect ratio
Hit “Convert” button to start the conversion, and after a while, you will get 16:9 video for sharing with some home theater, Apple TV, other media players or editing software.

Tips:
Moyea MTS Converter for windows and MTS Converter for Mac are both updated, adding advanced Dolby TrueHD technology, with which users can easily get your master audio track (English, French, German or other).
